SACNIS WhatsApp Business Messaging Platform — Effective 7 June 2026

1. Introduction

SACNIS Pty Ltd ("SACNIS", "we", "us", or "our") operates a WhatsApp Business messaging platform (the "Service") that enables businesses to send messages, manage templates, and communicate with their customers via the WhatsApp Business API.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing information.

WhatsApp Business Account Data: To connect your WhatsApp Business number, we collect your Meta Business Manager ID, WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID, and associated phone number IDs as provided through the Meta Business API.

Message Content and Metadata: We process message content, template definitions, recipient lists, and delivery metadata (sent, delivered, read status) on your behalf as a data processor. This data is transmitted to and from the Meta WhatsApp Business API.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.

Contact and Customer Data: When you upload recipient lists or customer contact information for messaging campaigns, we store and process this data solely to deliver the Service on your behalf.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process and deliver messaging campaigns on your behalf via the WhatsApp Business API
  • Manage message template submissions and approvals with Meta
  • Generate delivery analytics, read-rate reports, and campaign performance data
  • Authenticate users and maintain account security
  • Send administrative communications such as account confirmations, billing notices, and service updates
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Improve and develop new features of the Service

We do not sell your personal information or your customers' information to third parties.

4. WhatsApp Business API and Meta

Our Service operates through the official Meta WhatsApp Business API. By using our platform, you acknowledge that:

  • Your use of messaging functionality is subject to Meta's WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
  • SACNIS acts as a Business Solution Provider (BSP) or enables direct API access, and message transmission passes through Meta's infrastructure.
  • Meta may retain message metadata in accordance with their own privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, including the content of messages sent and the consent obtained from your customers, complies with applicable laws and Meta's policies.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating the platform (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors). These parties are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us.

Meta Platforms, Inc.: Message content and metadata are transmitted to Meta's infrastructure as part of the WhatsApp Business API operation.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Business Transfers: If SACNIS is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or prominent notice on our website prior to such transfer.

We do not share your customers' contact information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and associated information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Message content and recipient data are retained for a period sufficient to generate analytics and support dispute resolution, typically no longer than 12 months from message delivery, unless a longer retention period is required by law or requested by you.

Upon termination of your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, subject to legal and regulatory obligations.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
